On Creating

I’ve always believed that an artist’s life isn’t a single path, but a series of quiet journeys—each one shaped by curiosity and a willingness to learn something new. Over the years, I’ve worked in many mediums, and each has taught me something different about attention, restraint, and trust in the process. Making art has been a steady source of joy for me, and it continues to surprise me.

The guides and PDFs I share here grow directly out of my own studio practice. They’re not about quick results or rigid rules, but about slowing down, working with intention, and learning to listen to what the work is asking for. I create them as companions—something to return to as you draw, paint, print, and explore new materials.

My hope is that what you find here offers encouragement, clarity, or a small sense of permission as you develop your own creative practice.
